1970s half-inch gas branch and marginal meter capacity
Why here: Nearly three quarters of Carrollton housing dates to the 1970s and was piped for a 40,000 BTU tank. A 199,000 BTU tankless unit needs about five times that volume, and total connected load often sits near meter capacity.
What we do: We run a full whole-house gas load calculation, upsize the branch to three-quarter inch or pull a dedicated line, and coordinate a meter upgrade with the utility where the numbers require it.
